Rick Stern CEO

Rick founded Network Innovations in 1997. His goal was to address end customer and agent requirements to have a responsive, full-service communications provider available to meet their internet and data networking requirements. Today Rick remains focused on the customer through his executive level management oversight of the Finance, Operations and Client Services functions.

His past industry experience includes line and management positions within Sprint, MCIWorldcom, and Universal Access. While at MCIWorldcom and Universal Access, Rick honed his focus on developing Alternate Channel and Wholesale Sales segments by designing and building significant revenue producing verticals.

Rick holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida with a major in Telecommunications. He is currently enrolled in Harvard University Business School's Executive Education Program for Owners, Presidents, and Managers.

Ron Grason COO

Ron co-founded Network Innovations and provides a focus on creating complete customer and channel solutions by combining IP services, hardware, security, and advanced networking. Today Ron's role includes oversight of Pricing, Procurement and Vendor management.

His past industry experience includes interacting with small business through Fortune 500 client accounts at Verio and Worldcom. While at Verio, Ron was instrumental in developing the channel sales and OEM product line that was offered to ISP's, web developers, and system integrators. This product offering provided turn-key solutions, from infrastructure to connectivity, to this important user base.

Ron holds a Bachelor's degree from Loyola University.

Milan Saric CFO

Milan became part of the Network Innovations team in 2005. As CFO he is responsible for company's financial and accounting functions, and overall business planning. He is charged with establishing and maintaining the controls and processes necessary to a financially successful company. This includes overseeing general accounting, customer accounting, carrier auditing, and commission processing.

He is a financial executive with over 25 years experience managing medium and small businesses, as well as key functions within large businesses. His career encompasses a broad range of industries including telecommunications, transportation, construction, finance, and consulting. Prior experience includes Chief Financial Officer of 20/20 Technologies; Vice President and Controller, and later Vice President of Strategic Projects for Universal Access; CFO of Union Pacific Railroad's $1.3 billion Agribusiness Unit; Vice President and CFO of Perkins & Will; Treasurer, and Senior Manger of KPMG Peat Marwick.

Milan is a CPA and holds an MBA from the University of Illinois.

Jim McCabe VP of Operations

Jim signed on with Network Innovations in the Spring of 2007 to oversee a growing Operations department which includes Network Operations (NOC), NI Vision, order entry (O&E), provisioning and procurement function while rolling out high-speed "internet on-ramps" in Chicago and other major national markets.

He has spent the past 17 years in the telecommunications industry on both the sales and business operations sides. This dual focus on customers and technology is critical to Network Innovation's competitive differentiation as a provider of creative and flexible solutions. His background includes successful stints at Cellular One, AT&T, Universal Access and VANCO Direct. Mr. McCabe has worked with national and international accounts and has been repeatedly recognized for his customer focus and attention to detail.

Jim holds a Master of Business Administration degree with Distinction from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University.

Clay Hulen Director of Sales

Clay joined Network Innovations in 2007 to oversee a sales function that had expanded to include four remote sales branch offices located in strategic markets nationwide. With plans to double the sales presence, Clay is tasked with recruiting, training, and managing the NI Client Services effort while continuing to meet required revenue goals and commitments.

Since 1990, Clay has been directly involved in the competitive business and wholesale telecommunications marketplace through positions at Sprint, MFS(ATT), Metromedia Fiber Networks(Abovenet) and American Fiber Systems. His duties and roles have included direct sales, business development, partner relations, and account management.

Clay holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas.

Ray Richardson Director of Provisioning

In April of 2005 Ray joined Network Innovations to establish the processes, procedures, tracking, and training needed within a growing business to continue to successfully implement customer networks on schedule.

Ray's telecommunications career began at Sprint in 1990 as a Customer Service Associate. Since then his career has progressed through positions of increasing responsibility at Sprint, MCI Worldcom and Glotel Technology, honing his customer focus and supervisory skills to meet the needs of demanding customers while providing opportunities for greater sales and profitability.

Ray holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Fontbonne University

Linda Leone Director of Pricing and Procurement

Linda joined the Network Innovations team in 2005 to focus on the pre-sales requirements to quickly turn around pricing requests on customer projects. With responsibility not only for pricing, but also for carrier relations, Linda is in the forefront of creating the competitive solutions Network Innovations' customers rely on.

When Linda joined Network Innovations her desire was to utilize the customer services skills she had developed in nearly ten years in the fast paced world of advertising for SMY Media, McCann Erickson, Bozell Worldwide, Carrerra and Partners in an operations management setting. This client focus, honed with large customers such as Chrysler, general Motors, Lowe's and Sprint has served her well as she provides the interface between carriers and customers to develop the right solution at the right price.

Linda holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida.

Maria Arteaga, Director - Accounting Operations

Maria joined the Network Innovations team in 2007 as Director of Accounting Operations. She manages client billing, invoice audit and commissions. Maria will leverage her background in systems development to implement new automated tools to seamlessly integrate business functions throughout the company while implementing process improvements that will allow for volume scalability as our business continues to grow;.

With 15 years of experience in telecommunications, accounting, process engineering and business systems, Ms Arteaga brings multiple skills and capabilities to the Network Innovations team. Prior experience includes Vice President of Data Architecture & Business Process Engineering at Optelcon, and positions at Universal Access, Arista, and Telecomet.

Maria is completing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at DePaul University.
